Daniel George McDonald is an Emmy-award winning director, producer, and editor. His work on five-seasons of the Netflix series “Last Chance U” won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary, as well as an International Documentary Association IDA award for Best Episodic Series. His work on the Netflix series “Cheer” won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Picture Editing, as well as an American Cinema Editors ACE Award for Best Edited Non-Scripted Series. He recently directed and produced “The Clubhouse: A Year With The Red Sox” for Netflix. With Thea Thompson, Daniel is a co-founder of Catch Night Productions.

Daniel grew up in the mountains of Colorado and now lives outside LA. In addition to filmmaking, he is also a writer with a degree in poetry from Columbia University.
